Iranian facilities across river (Probably Abadan Refinary of Iran)
Iraqi Troops finally capturing docks of
Iranian Port city of Khoramshar (took 34 days to capture city), from clothes it should be a member of 31st or 33rd Commando \ Special forces Brigade of Iraqi Armed Forces

Iraqi
Army Forces (including T-162 in shot) crossing Karun river in Iran to encircle
Iranian major city of Abadan
Iraqi Forces on side of major Highway connecting City of Ahwaz to Abadan
Tragic image of what are
Iranian civilian vehicles on Abadan to Ahwaz Road. Many Civilians fleeing the city unaware of road had been cut were caught out on road by Iraqi Forces. Some killed, others taken as POW (later in war gradually Saddam in trickle released 80+ year old so called POW's, including both men and women during Red Cross exchanges as Combatants !!!)
Iraqi tanks destroyed by the
Iranian army near Ahwaz (AHVAZ), South Iran - 1980-1988
KHORRAMSHAHR, destroyed by the invading Saddam's

IRAN-IRAQ WAR FRONT ON AHVAZ (AHWAZ) SECTOR-1987 -MUD BUNKERS.
Forces of Saddam took by surprise this
Iranian port city of Khorramshahr and completely destroyed it. This picture was taken in 1987, when Iran regained control over the city.

Ex-Iraqi
Army T-62, the Bridge gives away the location this image was taken, "Soble" Bridge very close to Iran-Iraq Border in Khuzstan. Bostan Area.
Iranian Forces, Ramazan operation (attack toward Basra) in 1982
Ex-Iraqi Mobile "ROLAND" French built SAM Captured at Al-Faw (Valfajr-8) in 1986
Couple pictures taken in heat of battle as Iraqi POW are being evacuated. In distance what are probably vehicles burning, while looks like this location comes under fire.
Destroyed or captured

If your going to take out an enemy MBT, do it like a man, not with help of banned "Chemical Weapons"
If you do capture enemy MBT (like this Ex-Iraq T-62) put it to use against your enemy ASAP, NOT just use it as Static Display !
The
Iranian side used Approx 1,700 x Ex-Iraqi MBT\APC captured during 1980-88, if they could not immediaty used and taken over, they be recovered and repaired and made operational later.
A knocked out
Iranian "Chieftain" MBT from Iran-Iraq War 1980-88 - Looks like the water jacket that protects the charges for main gun ammo below turret ring done its job of avoiding a catastrophic ammunition fire and turret blowing off
Saddam Iraqi
Army era T-62 - Interior shot !
Another
Iranian "Chieftain" MBT from 1980-88 war - Has abandoned feel to it, some tool boxes look like missing, along with Machinegun, also get feeling of damages around unit, however still not sure if this operational or knocked out or just used \ badly bruised in battle.
Ex-Iraqi
Army knocked out MBT - a balancing act for some !
Member of
Iranian Army's 55th Airborne Brigade with an abandoned Iraqi
Army T-55 - Maybe damaged, but probably recoverable. The Highest scoring MBT killer of 1980-88 war on
Iranian side went to a TOW ATGM Team from the 55th.
Captured Iraqi T-72 in what looks like very good condition (guessing its probably from 1986 Al-Fao Operation, as that where we seen other similar T-72 captured in combat zone lacking typical Iraqi Green pattern on the Tanks)
