Tragic image of what are
Iranian civilian vehicles on Abadan to Ahwaz Road. Many Civilians fleeing the city unaware of road had been cut were caught out on road by Iraqi Forces. Some killed, others taken as POW (later in war gradually Saddam in trickle released 80+ year old so called POW's, including both men and women during Red Cross exchanges as Combatants !!!)

If your going to take out an enemy MBT, do it like a man, not with help of banned "Chemical Weapons"
If you do capture enemy MBT (like this Ex-Iraq T-62) put it to use against your enemy ASAP, NOT just use it as Static Display !
The
Iranian side used Approx 1,700 x Ex-Iraqi MBT\APC captured during 1980-88, if they could not immediaty used and taken over, they be recovered and repaired and made operational later.

Iranian "Chieftain" MBT from 1980-88 war - Has abandoned feel to it, some tool boxes look like missing, along with Machinegun, also get feeling of damages around unit, however still not sure if this operational or knocked out or just used \ badly bruised in battle.

Iranian side went to a TOW ATGM Team from the 55th.
Captured Iraqi T-72 in what looks like very good condition (guessing its probably from 1986 Al-Fao Operation, as that where we seen other similar T-72 captured in combat zone lacking typical Iraqi Green pattern on the Tanks)
